With the upcoming Summer Olympics in Beijing, I am starting to become more interested in China. This country has always been one that has kind of left me with a sour taste in my mouth, but I really don’t know why. I really need to learn more about this country and its culture. I don’t want to be too quick to judge just based on what I hear in the news. A few years ago my family hosted three boys from China for two weeks. It was a great experience, but not enough to really understand their culture. An overseas adventure travel to China would totally immerse someone in the culture and help to breed understanding.
