The high school students are responsible for going from house to house and teaching adults how to read and write. This Help Nicaragua Children them be responsible for the chickens and pigs that are in the yard and provide a source of food for the many parties that take place every weekend at the clinic. The brigades have rousing songs that they sing with hand motions that are dramatic and keep the spirits up and tax deductible donations flowing in like a glacial river down a mountain side with the fish jumping and the bears catching them right out of the ladder.
