With the invention of the CD, cassette tapes became obsolete for music lovers. DVD’s caused an end for VHS and now, digital cameras are paving the way to end traditional film-eating cameras for good. I believe there will always be a place for the traditional camera on some level. Developing your own film and being able to control and adjust each image as it’s developing. But for the everyday man, technology is king. We buy digital cameras so we can see the image immediately. We buy them because printing can be done in the home with a decent printer. As more and more advances are made, there will be very few people willing to take the time to bother with traditional cameras.
