After arriving at work one monday morning my receptionist greeted me with the news that a key employee had submitted their resignation and would be gone by the end of the week. You can imagine how horrifying this news was to me, especially knowing they played a key role in a upcoming presentation to a major client. All I can say is thank goodness for recruitment software. Within minutes I was reviewing the well maintained files on existing employees, hoping, not to have to look outside of my organization. Because of our maintaining current records and really taking advantage all recruitment software offers. I was so pleasantly surprised to find that one of my recent hires had the education and background experience to fill the anticipated vacancy.
