Keyword Tools for Pay Per Click Marketers
If you are doing Pay-Per-Click (PPC) marketing on the Internet, you have specialized needs when it comes to keyword tools. What you are interested in is search volume for various keywords and keyword phrases as well as the range of bid prices you can expect to pay for the top positions in the sponsored search listings. You are also interested in the so-called "long-tail" keywords, which are those keywords that have your "seed" keyword in them, but also have additional words that further refine the search. For example, if you are doing a search for digital cameras, a long tail keyword for digital cameras might be Sony CX550 digital camera. This is a very specific search term and indicates that the person doing the search is probably interested in making a purchase. Alternatively, someone who just searches on the key phrase "digital camera" is probably just in research mode and is not yet interested in purchasing a specific model of camera. Therefore, you can probably expect to pay a little more for these so-called "money" keywords than you would for a more general keyword.
