My trip to Italy is quickly approaching. I now have only two months until I arrive at my first destination, which is Venice. While I do have plane tickets, it’s time that I find and book some hotels in Venice, as well as my other destinations. I’m hoping to find the ideal hotels in Venice. Personally, I want one that has a large, comfortable room. And, I would like to have a number of nice restaurants nearby. If it looked elegant, in general, I’d be thrilled with that too. I’m just not sure that I even know how or where to begin my search for the ideal hotels. Does anyone have any ideas?

A local foundation that deals with a major university had a fundraiser about one month ago. As part of this fundraiser, the foundation sold tickets for a raffle for $20. I felt as though the foundation deserved the money, and I wasn’t too concerned about the prize or when the drawing would be held. Then, out of the blue, I received a phone call from someone at the foundation. I had won the grand prize, which was a trip to Barcelona. I couldn’t believe my luck. For the most part, I’ve never won anything in my entire life. So imagine my shock when they said I won.
