Today there aren’t many people who haven’t heard about solar power. But many may not realize how it can save them lots of money on energy costs. When I wanted to know how does solar power work, I went online and did a lot of reading. When I considered installing solar panels on my home I talked with experts and installers. I carefully considered initial cost vs. benefit. Our state allowed for tax credits for installing solar panels. Today we are almost totally energy independent. Installing the solar panels has also lead to us considering other forms of green energy to help save the environment and our money.
