Jason Derulo Is Determined To Team Up And Collaborate On Hit Single With Lady Gaga
With Jason Derulo and Lady Gaga’s time together on the Monster Ball Tour about to come to a close, the “Whatcha Say” vocalist admitted that being Gaga’s opening act has certainly been an experience. Lady Gaga’s intricate stage show and pop-star persona have definitely rubbed off on him. And he claimed the frontman is looking much better since postponing some tour dates due to exhaustion. “She looked great yesterday,” Derulo told MTV Stories on Thursday after Gaga started a run of shows at Radio Town Music Hall in her family town of Big Apple. The Jason Derulo song In My Head has already been placed very highly in the US charts.
“I was impressed. I watched the show yesterday it was awesome.” With her medical issues behind her, Gaga was able to return to putting on an awe-inspiring show. And watching Gaga night after night has Derulo singing her praises.
“I mean, I like such a big amount of different aspects of her performance. I feel a bit like she definitely is the new Madonna,” he revealed in an interview earlier this month. “I was always a massive Madonna fan. The old lady is a giant Madonna fan, so that sort of got passed down to me.” He said that for anyone that did not grow up in Madonna’s golden period, Gaga is the very best way to grasp that type of wizardry. “I guess plenty of folk my age do not know what Madonna was like,” he said. “They’re truly, actually equivalent in their performance and their character also. She just comes alive onstage. She’s an awesome performer. She makes you would like to watch. I adore the costumes. I like the costume changes. It is a real production.” Derulo added that when he steps out on his very own tour he plans on bringing that flare with him. “I studied musical theater my entire life, so when the time is right and it’s my very own tour and I have eight buses and 150 folk on my staff, I would like to do the same,” he announced.
“I need to have a massive production.” Once the pair bids the tour a fond farewell, would Derulo like to catch up with Gaga in the studio? Well, what do you think? “Absolutely. I definitely feel a partnership coming on,” he announced. “This time last year, in 2008, Gaga had 6 folks on her staff and now has 150. So, I mean, that is inspiring.”.
