Currently, I have a bedroom suite that was given to me by a friend. I would like to paint the walls of my bedroom a cheery yellow, and paint the bedroom furniture white. However, in my head I hear my mom and dad, and even my ex-husband saying what a sacrilege it is to paint over wooden furniture. As you can see, I am very divided in my decision. Once you paint furniture it is a real pain to strip and refinish back to the wooden look. I have done it before and don’t want to do it again. What if I paint it and don’t like it. Maybe I had better listen to the voices of people wiser than myself!
