There are places around our deck that just lend themselves to long narrow planters. I can see no reason why window boxes can not be used away from my windows. I have placed beautiful copper window boxes with scroll bands around but not quite next to our spa. Getting into the spa is like setting into a lush tropical forest. In addition to the manufactured beauty of the box, we now get radiant colors and a pleasant odor around us. A gentle word of caution for planters around a hot tub. Keep away from the reds unless you want to be entertained or disturbed by the humming birds.
