My friends moved from Pennsylvania to Arizona and packed everything into a big truck themselves. Being the good friend that I am, I went over to help them pack up the boxes and carry them to the truck. If they move again, they are going to call interstate removals - it sure will make the move easier. It was a much bigger and more time consuming job than any of us realized. We ran out of boxes or they were not the right size or we didn’t have enough newspapers to wrap everything. Of course, you also have to deal with the kids and the dog while you are packing; and then, when you are carrying things out, you must even keep track of the cat!
