Is solar yard lighting worth it?
I would like to add some outdoor lighting to our front yard and am wondering if solar yard lighting is the answer. I have noticed that the light that comes from the fixtures isn’t as bright as the other however, the ease in which these fixtures are able to go in as well as the lack of electricity they need to operate may out weigh the lack of brightness. Some of my concerns are, do they hold up in temperamental weather like rain, snow and wind. What type of life expectancy do they have and does the solar panel take away from the decorativeness of the fixture. I would love to hear your thoughts.
