A neighbor is going through a very messy divorce, and I got a great deal on designer furniture because of it. The man of the house was having an affair. His wife found out and threw him out. She got the house and the car she was driving. He got the boot and the car he was driving. They were fighting over many of their belongings. If they couldn’t come to an agreement on the items, the judge instructed her to sell them and give him half of the money that she obtained from the sale. The judge didn’t specify how much she had to ask for each item, so she sold the items for practically nothing. I paid a dollar for the designer furniture. I know they paid over five thousand dollars for the grouping, and they bought it a little over a year ago. I got a great deal!
