The main reason many that try to apply for a college scholarship fail because they don’t know how to effectively apply for it. In fact there are companies that specialize in locating and helping individuals apply for college scholarships. I think it is ironic that people who want to go to college do not seem smart enough to figure out what it takes to properly apply for a college scholarship. The very fact that there are companies that get paid to help do that very thing does not say much in favor for the intelligence level of potential college students. Apparently is not even expected to be all that high.
