Getting Chores Done with Learn through Play
I love to make up little games when I am working with my kids. It reminds me of Mary Poppins. The kids are more apt to help out with chores if we make it fun, and they actually learn through play while working. They learn about folding clothes, and even a bit of math when we are baking cookies. I find we all enjoy the time spent together more, and we get things done. It also carries over after the housework is done, we than have more time to play a game or go and do something out of the house, like a trip to the park.
