When to Start a Weight Loss Plan
If you’ve decided to start working to lose weight, then congratulations to you. Losing weight can do wonders for your health, both mental and physical. Once you have a general idea of how you want to lose weight, you need to decide when to start. Why not just start at any time? There are factors involved that can cause you to easily stray from your plan and give up. It’s just not wise to start a plan to lose weight and burn the fat at unrealistic times. For instance, you should not start an exercise plan just before Christmas or other major holidays. Such holidays involve parties, eating and spending time with family and loved ones. With all this, it would be hard to stick to a new diet of reduced caloric intake and spend time at the gym. It’s also not wise to start a new weight loss plan right before a vacation. Chances are you’ll want to enjoy good food, experience unique restaurants and perhaps have a few drinks on your vacation. These things would make it harder to stick to a diet. And, while on vacation, you probably wouldn’t do much exercising. So, wait until a time when you can devote your full attention to a new diet and exercise plan.
