What people with excessive sweating problem think?
Diaries of a hyperhidorosis sufferer: “…I want to regain my confidence that excessive sweating has seized from me. I aspire and actually anticipate the moment when I will be pursuing my occupational and social life as normally as the other people. I want to be able to hold my beloved’s hand without reluctance or shame. I want to recuperate myself esteem and be fearless and not isolated…” All these are very reasonable and legitimate rights a human being would be yearning to acquire. However, if that diary writer knows that he is not the sole person who is suffering from that mishap and that there are more people who are actually doomed with such a disorder just because God chose to examine their will and faith, he would have felt more positive towards himself and his attitude would have changed. A major step in the treatment for excessive sweating, and same goes for other disorders, is feeling good about one’s self and visualizing one’s self after being cured—mere imagination. If the hyperhidrosis patient succeeds in that step, then he would be less anxious and thus would sweat less. Furthermore, he would be more susceptible to any cure or treatment technique prescribed by specialists.
