A few years ago I got fed up with wearing contact lenses and glasses. So I decided to have refractive surgery done on my eyes. I was a great success and now I enjoy perfect vision. The only problem I have was with my refractive surgery and dry eye. My dry eye lasted for weeks after the surgery. I thought that it would never go away! But then I learned that refractive surgery and dry eye is a common side effect. After the dry eye went away I was astounded at the affect refractive surgery had on my eyes. I was so happy to not wear contact lenses anymore.
