I have just read something that worries me. If like me you are taking Ritalin, did you know that it contains methylphenidate, which is known to cause panic attacks. It is only said to be a temporary side effect of the drug but all the same I don’t like the sound of that when I am in the middle of trying to free myself of anxiety demons. I have lapsed in my treatment recently and I suspect my medication is the root cause. If you are taking medication as a form of panic attack treatment make sure you consult your physician first.
