I used to wet shave and without fully realizing what I was doing, laid the basis for a real ingrown hair problem. They are quite small but boy can they be uncomfortable, especially on the neck area. I was thinking of using an ingrown hair treatment but then did a little more research on shaving and finally decided to take the plunge and go for an electric shaver. Once your skin gets used to the different shaving method I find it now so much less hassle than before. And of course the risk of ingrown hair is greatly reduced as you are not dragging a blade across your face possibly cutting the hair below the skin’s surface which can cause it to grow out later through the sides of the hair follicle. If you’ve got a problem with facial ingrown hairs from shaving it’s definitely an option worth considering.
