I get a lot of phone calls on my cell phone from numbers that aren’t in my address book. I usually don’t pick up, but then I wonder sometimes if it’s maybe important. So I use reverse phone lookup or Google to try finding out who it might be. Often, it’s a number that a lot of people have received unsolicited calls from, selling one thing or another. I know I’m on the national do-not-call list but apparently some companies don’t care. My mom also gets weird phone calls from someone in the middle of the night. They never say anything when she picks up, it’s just annoying. I wish there was a way to block calls from specific phone numbers.
