Recycling Problem Solved with Battery Bins
I’ve always heard that you are not supposed to throw your dead batteries in the trash when you are done with them. However, I never really knew what else to do with them. Recently, however, a coworker introduced me to a little container that is called a battery bin. It is simply a designated place to keep all of your batteries that need to be recycled. Then you can make one trip to get rid of them. The bins that she told me about are even made of a flame resistant material, in order to reduce the risk of batteries catching fire.
