Leaving Texas for a Good Reason
The thought of leaving my husband of 4 years first crossed my mind when he first motioned of hitting me during an argument. I started growing scared of him. I knew then that sooner or later, I will be experiencing some beating. My children saw the incident and they were old enough to understand the danger of the situation. The divorce is final now and I was granted full custody of the kids. We are moving out of the home I built with the man I once so loved and trusted.
