A new School
Next year, my extremely gifted child will be going into the 5th grade. I am not happy with the level of gifted education he is receiving at his current school. It is almost as if he has become the teacher’s aid. She has him checking other children’s tests, while the classroom is working on stuff he had already completed. I want a more academically rigorous program for my son. The new Tucson Charter School that opened just this year, promises just that. They guarantee that all their students will be working one to two grade levels above their peers at the public schools.
