My Grandma has been living in a really beautiful and comfortable retirement community in the Boca Raton area in Florida for about three years now.  Grandma rarely has any need to go anywhere since they have virtually anything you could want from shops to restaurants right there in the community.  She still wants to keep her own vehicle, but it is pretty rare for her to use it at all.
