Hybrid Cars and The Future Of Our Planet
With the ever increasing concern over global warming, not to mention escalating fuel prices, the hybrid car is gaining in popularity.
A hybrid car is essentially a car that can use either normal fuel (like petrol) or electricity to power iteslf. It willrun on electricity while the load is low and the batteries are charged, but when the load is increased, like under acceleration, or when the batteries are losing power, the car will automatically switch to burning petrol to get you home.
These cars are touted as being kinder to the environment, as during town (or urban) use, they will invariably be running on the batteries, hence reducing emissions.
