Why is it that we are fascinated with getting gadgets for our cars?  Perhaps it is because of advertising.  Perhaps it’s because the little knick knacks that are out there are too neat to pass up!  I don’t know about you, but even though I am great with directions, I still wouldn’t mind having a brand new vehicle that is equipped with a built-in GPS system.  Sure, you can still go to any local sporting goods store and purchase one, but what fun is that?!  It looks a lot neater if it arleady comes with your car.  There are some added benefits to GPS systems that you buy from the store though.  For one, they are portable and you can transfer them from car to car.  Secondly, you kinda’ have more options in terms of certain features that you want your GPS system to have.  However, you have to see about getting a warranty (if it comes with one), plus you risk the possibility of having your vehicle broken into because a thief will be able to recognize in a second that this particular gadget is portable.
